Businessolver hired my company Fell Swoop and I to quickly ideate and explore new directions for an employee benefits app built around a conversation UI. The mission was to produce a range of options quickly and to prototype them with enough detail for internal design and engineering teams to reference in their product work later.
Based on the business requirements and user needs provided to me, I quickly produced a range of low-fidelity conceptual wireframes.
I produced detailed written narratives for key use cases illustrated with low-fidelity wireframes.
I produced interactive prototypes for key use cases across smartphone and desktop breakpoints.
I was responsible for all budgeting, planning and team oversight.

Key Deliverable
The client was looking for fresh perspective and ideas to inform their product thinking. My role was to explore a range of potential product concepts building on the work they have already done. Specifically, I was testing the limits of complex use cases being accomplished within a conversation UI, such as benefits enrollment.
Key Deliverable
Once the client reviewed the initial concepts, I continued to refine the best ideas with detailed written narratives illustrated with high-level low fidelity wireframes. The user stories help provided clarity around the flow and interactions to explore during prototyping.
Key Deliverable
I produced detailed black and white interactive wireframe prototypes. These prototypes explored the interactivity for key features within the app and the flow across a guided assistant, chat UI, and voice UI input.
Key Deliverable
I worked with a designer on my team to apply visual styles to the UI specified in the wireframes.
The client was happy with the envisioning work we produced and used it as a springboard for further refinement and exploration internally. The product is live today with elements from our early work present in the final product.
