Asure Software hired my agency Fell Swoop and I to give shape to a new human resources app they planned to build and offer as part of a suite of products. They had a limited amount of business requirements documented, and a distributed team, and looked to us to help bring everyone together and establish a vision for the new app.
I planned and moderated a workshop with key stakeholders and representative end users.
I wrote user stories and illuminated them with wireframes.
I developed detailed wireframes and a light interactive prototype for the app.
I was responsible for all budgeting, planning and team oversight.

Key Deliverable
I planned a workshop intended to establish a shared vision for the app across the stakeholders. I also screened and recruited representative end users to participate in the workshop and help provide real-time insight for the stakeholders about user needs and goals.
During the workshop, my team and I conducted exercises designed to identify business goals and user needs that would drive the features and functionality of the app. We also conducted a group exercise for sketching concepts and ideas collaboratively. Ultimately, the goal was to ensure all voices were heard up front while we established a vision for the product together.
Key Deliverable
Based on the outcome of the workshop, I wrote narratives for each key use case. These use cases were later illuminated with wireframes and reviewed by the stakeholders.
Key Deliverable
Next I designed detailed wireframes and a light interactive prototype to capture all the user interface and behavior requirements for the app.
Key Deliverable
I worked with a designer on my team to apply visual styles to the UI specified in the wireframes.
The client was happy with the envisioning work we provided. The specifications served as a starting point for their team to finalize the design and build the product internally.
